Thank you Google.
My dear Life,
I would like to start by saying- You’re beautiful. You have been there with me even before my heart started beating. You were there when I came into the world and cried tears. You were there as I realized that I have a beautiful family and fell in love with them. You were there when I learnt how to clap my hands and further sing, “If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands.” You were there when I scraped my knee and cursed you for the first time. But you didn’t mind. You held on to me. Thank you. I’m sorry that I blamed you, it was my fault I ran too fast.
Then came times when I blamed you for nearly everything I did. I hated you. I’m sorry.
I always blamed YOU for the things I got myself into. There were times when I wanted you to go away from me, or I wanted to exchange you for something else. I’m sorry, today I realize how amazing you have been to me and how much you love me.
You were there through it all.
You are my favorite teacher.
You gave me tests before you taught me my lesson. How queer it is that your lessons are taught after the test is passed. Somehow, you never run out of second chances. You taught me that its never too late to realize and make yourself a better person.
You taught me that nothing is permanent than change and nothing is more beautiful than love. You made me believe in myself, you made me fall in love with you.
Most importantly, you taught me that if I’m happy I should clap my hands, and if not, I should look inside myself.
You taught me that happiness is your best friend and happiness is selfless and courteous. It only comes if you want it to, it will never come uninvited. But if you really do want it there, it will stay there for as long as you want. You just have to give it a place in your heart, and it will never leave.
You’re beautiful and I love you.
Thank you.
Yours forever and after,
Queen of Blah.
