Happily Ever After. :)

"I couldn't find a quote perfect enough to match the perfection of the beautiful fairy tales." ~QoB

White horses, a lovely princess who never has bad-hair-days, the perfect Prince Charming, gardens of love, the defeat of the evil and a perfect happy ending.

Once upon a time, there lived a wish in the golden heart of yours. The wish was beautiful, pure and simple. You took care of it like a mother takes care of her child. You whispered, "You will be reality, one day." to it every single night. You sung it sweet little lullabies, but it never slept! It kept awake, glowing brighter each moment. Its glow was so strong that it made its way into your dreams each night. Oh, the beautiful feeling of having a beautiful wish.
One fine morning, as you snuggled up by your window and read your favorite book, with your wish feeling as cozy as it could, out of nowhere came came this terrible storm. The sound of thunder and lightening frightened your wish; it begged you to save it from breaking down, and you DID try your best, but the dreadful Wicked Witch came disguised as Reality and stole your wish away from you. You ran after her, begged her to be kinder, but the Wicked Witch remained wickeder than ever before. The storm calmed down, but your heart? Your heart was restless. It felt empty. The place which was first full of the rainbows of hope and valleys of happiness, was nothing but a piece of barren land. Reality had stolen your wish away from you; you were left with nothing but the shadows of your dreams.

Years passed, seasons changed. However, nothing could change the winter in your heart.

Then, one day, a dragonfly entered your room through the same window from where the Wicked Witch had entered. You looked at the dragonfly and smiled- it was a pretty red dragonfly, and Oh-My-God! It left behind a trail of silver glitter as it moved! It hummed the beautiful song of love, peace and harmony and danced around your room. And as you stared at it in astonishment, it wrote "Dream, Hope, Believe, Love" with its silver trail in front of your eyes.
"Who are you, pray, may I know?" You found yourself asking it.
It twirled 7 times.. when, lo and behold! There appeared the MOST BEAUTIFUL, delicate, little fairy dressed in red.
"I am the Fairy of Reality," she said in a voice which sounded like tinkling bells. "You're The Chosen One. We have chosen you to fight the Dragon Of Fear, Gnome Of Resentment and The Wicked Witch (who claims to be the Fairy Of Reality, but isn't really). Your weapons are- dreams, hopes, belief and love. Go fight this battle, and win your wish back." Saying this, she disappeared.
You closed your eyes.
You killed the Dragon Of Fear with the sword of Belief.
You slaughtered the Gnome of Resentment with the dagger of Dreams.
And finally, you snatched your wish which was saved as a crystal ball from the Wicked Witch, slapped her twice by kissing her cheek, and telling her, "I DREAM, I HOPE, I BELIEVE, I LOVE."
You just saved that little wish of yours.

And as you won this battle, the lessons of the past combined with the beauty of the future. Your wish twirled upon its feet, and you, with the magical powers of dreams, hope, belief and love, turned it into reality.
....And you lived happily ever after. :)

You see? You did find your happy ending. You just needed some basic magical powers and the strength and the determination to save your wish. AND YES, HELL A LOT OF TIME.

Fairy tales- the most realistic of them all. :)

A Clear Blue Ocean

“Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.” ~Ann Landers

"Let go." It whispered.
You hung on.
"Please, I can't take it anymore." It pleaded, this time.
You still hung on.

Why? Were you scared of being called a quitter? Were you scared of not being able to tell yourself that you gave it your best?
Or, were you just scared of losing something which had once meant the world to you? Were you really so weak that you couldn't accept the fact that nothing is permanent but change?

ARE you scared of leaving your pond and seeing the ocean?
Or, don't you believe that you'd ever be able to see the ocean? Are you too scared to get lost, and never find a home, again?
*Sigh*
You will never be homeless. You will find an ocean- a wide, beautiful ocean; where you will be able to see your reflection, better and clearer; where you'll find a larger area to explore and love.
If you're not happy, just let go.

Always remember, Mother Nature has given us ALL, the quality of adaptation, and if you don't set yourself free from your own sadness, your  heart will become numb to every emotion, you want to feel.
And, THAT is worse than not being able to find a new home.

~|: LIFE GOES ON :|~

Whatever happens, never forget, that life does go on and, time? Time has the capacity to heal EVERY bruise, EVERY pain, EVERY sorrow.
Two years from now, you would be laughing, smiling, dancing- in your new home: Just like you did in this one. Two years from now, all the bad memories will fade away, and you'll look back and smile at the old smiles and laughters, and be proud of what you have learnt- But only, if you let go at the right time. Because, pain leads to bitterness and bitterness to hatred and, the only way you can be happy is to love.

"Everything and everyone that you hate is engraved upon your heart; if you want to let go of something, if you want to forget, you cannot hate.”  ~C. Joybell C.

Queen Of Blah~ In the search of a brand new ocean.

You're smiling. You're alive. :)

The alarm rings.
You groan and wake up.
You remember your name, you remember your aim.
Then you remember why you had cried yourself to sleep last night.
You groan again.
You get out of bed. Your dog follows your heel and licks your feet at every chance he gets; you feel good.
You go in front of the mirror. You can see the ugly face of insecurity and jealousy, you can see darkness in the smudged mascara and out of place hair. You want to break the mirror- you don't. You never do anything you want to. Why? You're too scared of what will be the outcome. You're too scared of the hurt it will bring to you. You're too scared to lose those very few who love you; you're clinging on to them with all your might. You're not alone, but you feel lonely. You're not a coward, but you feel afraid. You want to smile, you want to be happy. This is the story of your life, but you promise to stand strong and hide it all behind that smile.

You close your eyes and take a deep breath.

You look into the mirror again. You smile. You can see the beautiful face of strength and dignity. You wash your face. Now your face is shining with a new hope of a better today. You go out of the bathroom. You want to have some nice strong coffee. You do. No, you will not have the green tea which will be healthy for you, you will have the nice strong coffee. Why? Because you want to. You are not scared of tomorrow. You want to live for today. You pick up your dog and kiss his wet nose and wish the sky a good morning. You pick up your phone and tell every special person that he is special. You're lonely, but you're not alone. You feel afraid, but you're not a coward. Life is not perfect, you're not perfect, but you're smiling and you're happy. Not ecstatic, but you're happy- in the hope of having a better today and a perfect tomorrow. This is the story of your life because you promise to stand strong and ignore everything and wear that smile.

Because a smile is a messenger from the angels of happiness, strength and hope.

Queen of Blah smiling off. :)
