Happily Ever After. :)

"I couldn't find a quote perfect enough to match the perfection of the beautiful fairy tales." ~QoB

White horses, a lovely princess who never has bad-hair-days, the perfect Prince Charming, gardens of love, the defeat of the evil and a perfect happy ending.

Once upon a time, there lived a wish in the golden heart of yours. The wish was beautiful, pure and simple. You took care of it like a mother takes care of her child. You whispered, "You will be reality, one day." to it every single night. You sung it sweet little lullabies, but it never slept! It kept awake, glowing brighter each moment. Its glow was so strong that it made its way into your dreams each night. Oh, the beautiful feeling of having a beautiful wish.
One fine morning, as you snuggled up by your window and read your favorite book, with your wish feeling as cozy as it could, out of nowhere came came this terrible storm. The sound of thunder and lightening frightened your wish; it begged you to save it from breaking down, and you DID try your best, but the dreadful Wicked Witch came disguised as Reality and stole your wish away from you. You ran after her, begged her to be kinder, but the Wicked Witch remained wickeder than ever before. The storm calmed down, but your heart? Your heart was restless. It felt empty. The place which was first full of the rainbows of hope and valleys of happiness, was nothing but a piece of barren land. Reality had stolen your wish away from you; you were left with nothing but the shadows of your dreams.

Years passed, seasons changed. However, nothing could change the winter in your heart.

Then, one day, a dragonfly entered your room through the same window from where the Wicked Witch had entered. You looked at the dragonfly and smiled- it was a pretty red dragonfly, and Oh-My-God! It left behind a trail of silver glitter as it moved! It hummed the beautiful song of love, peace and harmony and danced around your room. And as you stared at it in astonishment, it wrote "Dream, Hope, Believe, Love" with its silver trail in front of your eyes.
"Who are you, pray, may I know?" You found yourself asking it.
It twirled 7 times.. when, lo and behold! There appeared the MOST BEAUTIFUL, delicate, little fairy dressed in red.
"I am the Fairy of Reality," she said in a voice which sounded like tinkling bells. "You're The Chosen One. We have chosen you to fight the Dragon Of Fear, Gnome Of Resentment and The Wicked Witch (who claims to be the Fairy Of Reality, but isn't really). Your weapons are- dreams, hopes, belief and love. Go fight this battle, and win your wish back." Saying this, she disappeared.
You closed your eyes.
You killed the Dragon Of Fear with the sword of Belief.
You slaughtered the Gnome of Resentment with the dagger of Dreams.
And finally, you snatched your wish which was saved as a crystal ball from the Wicked Witch, slapped her twice by kissing her cheek, and telling her, "I DREAM, I HOPE, I BELIEVE, I LOVE."
You just saved that little wish of yours.

And as you won this battle, the lessons of the past combined with the beauty of the future. Your wish twirled upon its feet, and you, with the magical powers of dreams, hope, belief and love, turned it into reality.
....And you lived happily ever after. :)

You see? You did find your happy ending. You just needed some basic magical powers and the strength and the determination to save your wish. AND YES, HELL A LOT OF TIME.

Fairy tales- the most realistic of them all. :)

The Queen of Blah preserving her wish. :)

A Clear Blue Ocean

“Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.” ~Ann Landers

"Let go." It whispered.
You hung on.
"Please, I can't take it anymore." It pleaded, this time.
You still hung on.

Why? Were you scared of being called a quitter? Were you scared of not being able to tell yourself that you gave it your best?
Or, were you just scared of losing something which had once meant the world to you? Were you really so weak that you couldn't accept the fact that nothing is permanent but change?

ARE you scared of leaving your pond and seeing the ocean?
Or, don't you believe that you'd ever be able to see the ocean? Are you too scared to get lost, and never find a home, again?
*Sigh*
You will never be homeless. You will find an ocean- a wide, beautiful ocean; where you will be able to see your reflection, better and clearer; where you'll find a larger area to explore and love.
If you're not happy, just let go.

Always remember, Mother Nature has given us ALL, the quality of adaptation, and if you don't set yourself free from your own sadness, your  heart will become numb to every emotion, you want to feel.
And, THAT is worse than not being able to find a new home.

~|: LIFE GOES ON :|~

Whatever happens, never forget, that life does go on and, time? Time has the capacity to heal EVERY bruise, EVERY pain, EVERY sorrow.
Two years from now, you would be laughing, smiling, dancing- in your new home: Just like you did in this one. Two years from now, all the bad memories will fade away, and you'll look back and smile at the old smiles and laughters, and be proud of what you have learnt- But only, if you let go at the right time. Because, pain leads to bitterness and bitterness to hatred and, the only way you can be happy is to love.

"Everything and everyone that you hate is engraved upon your heart; if you want to let go of something, if you want to forget, you cannot hate.”  ~C. Joybell C.

Queen Of Blah~ In the search of a brand new ocean.

You're smiling. You're alive. :)

The alarm rings.
You groan and wake up.
You remember your name, you remember your aim.
Then you remember why you had cried yourself to sleep last night.
You groan again.
You get out of bed. Your dog follows your heel and licks your feet at every chance he gets; you feel good.
You go in front of the mirror. You can see the ugly face of insecurity and jealousy, you can see darkness in the smudged mascara and out of place hair. You want to break the mirror- you don't. You never do anything you want to. Why? You're too scared of what will be the outcome. You're too scared of the hurt it will bring to you. You're too scared to lose those very few who love you; you're clinging on to them with all your might. You're not alone, but you feel lonely. You're not a coward, but you feel afraid. You want to smile, you want to be happy. This is the story of your life, but you promise to stand strong and hide it all behind that smile.

You close your eyes and take a deep breath.

You look into the mirror again. You smile. You can see the beautiful face of strength and dignity. You wash your face. Now your face is shining with a new hope of a better today. You go out of the bathroom. You want to have some nice strong coffee. You do. No, you will not have the green tea which will be healthy for you, you will have the nice strong coffee. Why? Because you want to. You are not scared of tomorrow. You want to live for today. You pick up your dog and kiss his wet nose and wish the sky a good morning. You pick up your phone and tell every special person that he is special. You're lonely, but you're not alone. You feel afraid, but you're not a coward. Life is not perfect, you're not perfect, but you're smiling and you're happy. Not ecstatic, but you're happy- in the hope of having a better today and a perfect tomorrow. This is the story of your life because you promise to stand strong and ignore everything and wear that smile.

Because a smile is a messenger from the angels of happiness, strength and hope.

Queen of Blah smiling off. :)

Half a gallon of shampoo.

"I know in my heart that man is good. That what is right will eventually triumph. And there is purpose and worth to each and every life."
~Ronald Raegan

After singing one and a half Adele songs in my echoing voice which seemed melodious to my tone deaf ears and applying at least half a gallon of shampoo on my hair, my mind had an avalanche of thoughts starting with the mildest snowfall of the words, "Life. What about life? Why do we have it?"

On being asked the purpose of his life by a student, he'd talk about his career plans and ambitions.
On being asked the purpose of life by a working man, he'd talk about promotions and further success.
On being asked the purpose of life by a son or a daughter, they'd talk about making their parents proud.
On being asked the purpose of life by a spouse, the answer would be about keeping their partner happy.
On being asked the purpose of life by a human being, the answer would vary each time a goal is achieved or would fade away sooner or later.
So WHAT is the purpose of life?
Different people would have different answers.

My belief is that our inner being is an evergreen tree whose motive is GROWTH.
We come into this world as crying infants, unable to bear the sudden pressure of the atmosphere; we grow into immature demanding teenagers who recklessly make mistakes; life then takes us to a point where we grow into young adults who in our minds know the difference between wrong and right, but the thin ever-crumbling line between them, sends us into wider and more drastic problems- that's when they say 'You're now seeing the real world.'; we further find ourselves to be playing so many roles on the stage of life and in each act, we expect perfection which leads us to frequent disappointment; and LASTLY, we during the last few years of our life, realize the mistakes we had made, the chances we were too scared to take, the unnecessary blame game we played when the culprit was actually us. We fall, we pick ourselves up, remember to apply the lesson we learnt in practicality and march right ahead. Till our very last breath, we keep learning.

Another question: "Why is pain a necessary element?"
We all talk about how we should put what we study to practical use, don't we?
Life believes in that too.
Life is a school, where Karma is a teacher and we are mere students. Karma carefully watches our actions, jots down each loophole, and teaches us a lesson by putting us through the pain deserved. And trust me, each problem is a repercussion of an action taken by us at some point or the other. Never blame anyone who has hurt you, that person was just there as a pawn of Karma.

When I say this, another question arises in my mind- "What's the point of learning? What's the point of anything?"
And frankly, the answer to this, I am still racking my minds on.

There is just one thing I know~ No negative thought is needed in our lives, and the heart is a lot more intelligent than the brain as it tends to see the almost invisible difference between wrong and right. Fear nothing except Karma and most importantly, always remember, life loves you and is just taking you to the main goal you have to achieve- growth.

Life is not difficult, just has its own ways.

And yes, it took me 1 hour to remove that shampoo of my head. (Taught me to be more careful. ;) )

At this note, this is the Queen of Blah signing off. :D

If you're happy and you know it clap your hands! If not, look inside. :)

You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life. ~Albert Camus

 Definition for happiness:

Web definitions:
state of well-being characterized by emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy
 Thank you Google

My dear Life,

I would like to start by saying- You’re beautiful.
You have been there with me even before my heart started beating. You were there when I came into the world and cried tears. You were there as I realized that I have a beautiful family and fell in love with them. You were there when I learnt how to clap my hands and further sing, “If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands.” You were there when I scraped my knee and cursed you for the first time. But you didn’t mind. You held on to me. Thank you. I’m sorry that I blamed you, it was my fault I ran too fast.
Then came times when I blamed you for nearly everything I did. I hated you. I’m sorry.
I always blamed YOU for the things I got myself into. There were times when I wanted you to go away from me, or I wanted to exchange you for something else. I’m sorry, today I realize how amazing you have been to me and how much you love me.

You were there through it all.

You are my favorite teacher.
You gave me tests before you taught me my lesson. How queer it is that your lessons are taught after the test is passed. Somehow, you never run out of second chances. You taught me that its never too late to realize and make yourself a better person.
You taught me that nothing is permanent than change and nothing is more beautiful than love. You made me believe in myself, you made me fall in love with you.

Most importantly, you taught me that if I’m happy I should clap my hands, and if not, I should look inside myself.
You taught me that happiness is your best friend and happiness is selfless and courteous. It only comes if you want it to, it will never come uninvited. But if you really do want it there, it will stay there for as long as you want. You just have to give it a place in your heart, and it will never leave.

You’re beautiful and I love you.
Thank you.

Yours forever and after,
Queen of Blah.

As it flows, as it sings, as it grows- LOVE.

Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to
doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
- Unknown

This is, perhaps, the first time, I speak of love. Maybe because, this is the first time I understand love.

As it finds its way into the deepest corners,
And holds its breath, as destiny honours.
Erupts in ecstacy in the heart,
Feel it take over every part.
Hault, love is not a wave, not an upsurge.
Breathlessness and the lonely urge.
Breeze after the storm, love after its torn.’

Beautiful and serene, a rainbow after the storm~ This is how it is defined.
But the sudden eruption is not love. The sudden eruption is the foundation of the building about to be formed. Love is the building, love is the feeling of helplessness in the absence after the excitement dies. Love is just how beautifully the roots of the two hearts are intertwined, that even after the excitement wears out, the beauty of togetherness remains the only ecstasy.
Initially, everyone and everything seems perfect; but as time unfolds every secret, falling in love with the imperfections is love, laughing together at little mistakes is love, smiling and feeling complete even while fighting because the trust doesn’t seem to disappear is love.
It grows with every breath and never ends. And at every place where love is formed, it is different. It is not what is shown in movies, it is not what is read in books. Like every person has a unique set of fingerprints, every person has a unique way to love. Love the way you're loved, no one can love you the same way.
The dependence on a person is not love.
But gaining strength from love is love.
Yes, love cannot be put in words. Love cannot be defined. For those who think, love is easy- it is not. Love requires strength, sacrifice, compromise- all with a smile coming from the depth of the soul and clarity of heart.

Let go of love. Its yours to keep.

What we call a 'Best Friend.' ♥

“When it hurts to look back, and you're scared to look ahead, you can look beside you and your best friend will be there” ~Anonymous.

When you were feeling as if you’re walking a bed of thorns, with storms gushing in and you found no place to hide- this person didn’t bring in rainbows, but certainly gave you an umbrella and kept screaming, “Watch where you’re going, stupid! There is a thorn there.”
When you felt you were falling helplessly into the hopeless hollows of nowhere, this person didn’t defy all rules of gravity to save you, but yes, caught you when you fell and gave you the smile which said- “You’ll never in your life, hear the end of this.”

Sigh. The feeling of having a best friend.
The feeling of having someone who’d start preaching the moment something goes wrong but will NEVER say- “I told you so.”
The feeling of a hug booked specially for you.
The feeling of never being lonely.

A best friend brings out the best in you and ALSO the worst. A best friend will push you into the most RIDICULOUS of situations only to pull you out again.
A best friend fights, rebukes, pulls your hair and punches your nose but loves you like nobody can.
A best friend is someone who knows your secrets without you uttering a word. You tend to be yourself in front of them without even REALIZING. You say the STUPIDEST of things in front of them, and they still love you. They accept you just the way you are. You can make little dinosaur noises in front of them, go all philosophical and crazy in front of them, talk about how you REALLY want to get into Harvard with a 40% marksheet in your hand- and they won’t think you’re crazy. (Well, that I can’t guarantee. :D )
They would have seen those precious goodbyes and would have wiped your lonely tears. They would have heard you cry about the same thing a zillion times but would have never gotten bored. BECAUSE THEY LOVE YOU.

Look around. We all have that best friend somewhere. Are we missing upon that someone?

Life has gems all over the ground. Keep them safe.

~A Soft Breeze.~

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

~Mahatma Gandhi.

The moment, a little baby with a pure heart enters the world, his being starts a new journey. He gets promoted to a higher order, where now, he has more things to learn, more things to understand, more things to see. He is sent to the world to err, so that he can learn- and time makes sure he does.
Life has its own weird ways. :)

So, who are we, who don't even understand a FRACTION of life's contrivance, to take 'revenge' and hold 'grudges.' Every single person on this planet, has the birthright to make MISTAKES- Small, big, insignificant, disastrous: All have their own place in the big puzzle of life. All the good and all the bad come together to form life. What has happened to us is what WE have earned and who made it happen to us has something to learn in the future. In fact, we should go ahead and thank that person, because he MADE IT HAPPEN. He took our life to such a stage, where we got the opportunity to grow and learn and become better and stronger human beings. For a person who has the strength to admit that his life is what he has made of it, not what the others have, is a person to be admired. No matter, how many mistakes he has made in life, no matter, how much he has suffered, if he has the strength to forgive those who have hurt him GENUINELY, and the heart to admit his own mistakes and correct them one by one and also FORGIVE HIMSELF, is a person who has made good terms with life, peace and happiness. We, as simple foolish human beings have to understand that when we forgive, we let loose an abyss of positivity, happiness, contentment and PEACE in the dry arid areas of our soul which REFUSE to grow the flowers of love and understanding for the human race.
Forgiveness is the first step to a new beginning in life.
Forgive yourself for all the wrong you have done. Love yourself. Trust yourself. Make a fresh start.
Forgive others for all the wrong they have done to you. Love them. Thank them. Make a fresh start.
Forgive those for all the wrong they have done to others. Love them. Make peace with them. Make a fresh start.
Because, a person who forgives is strong, wise and beautiful.
A person who confesses his faults is strong, wise and beautiful.
Also,
A person who lives his life in an illusion of being correct all the time, will be strong, wise and beautiful.

Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.

~Budha.

Life is a soft breeze, let it blow.

Nothing is permanent but CHANGE. :D

'Man can never discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.'
~Andre Gide.

You open your eyes to the sunlight peeping in from your window. You remember you had closed your eyes to a dark night, to find your dreams, and VOILA! You wake up to a new day. A new chance to live your dreams.  A simple natural phenomenon which even a three year old understands, that its day after night and night after day- we, who call ourselves erudite, fail to understand.

When darkness falls upon us, its not a sign of evil taking over our lives, its a green signal given by life- to find ourselves and our dreams. And then life will give us sunshine again for us to live our found dreams. ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS TRUST AND LET GO.
If it weren't for change, we would all still be apes. Or no, we all wouldn't even be here! Change is beautiful. Initially, every change seems awkward; and we look at everything new disdainfully. We feel that what we hold today is the best, and will remain the best. We cling on to our pasts so tightly as we're too scared to fall into the uncertainty of the future. But the fear of uncertainty is nothing but an added pain because what has happened- has already happened and there is no point in regretting it because if it weren't for the past, there wouldn't be no present; what is happening can't be stopped and doesn't need to be because it is happening for the best; what will happen- WILL HAPPEN as destiny has its own ways to get its work done and don't blame it, it conspires to make your life just as beautiful as you want it to be.
So why be afraid of change? How will we know the best 'till we have experienced everything? Life is a beautiful river, let it take its own course. It will take you where you deserve.

There is nothing in life which cannot be corrected, and no change which is without a reason.
No situation where a frown is required- because, my dear friend, no matter how much you manipulate life, it will lead you to where you are destined to be, and trust me, it will be a happy ending.

"Its something unpredictable, but in the end its right. I hope you had the time of your life.'
~Green Day.

Life is simple. WE complicate it by our own fears and unnecessary pessimism.
Smiling through it all gives life hope.

Queen of Blah signing off hoping for a change in her life. :)

When you come back home.

So this one isn't all that well written, but its the closest to my heart.

As the lady of destiny twirls upon its feet,
With the apathy of time we take a meet.
Faraway you’ll be, out of my reach,
And every patient moment of strength will preach.
I’ll be on the doorstep with a smile on my face,
Beauty and love will be scattered all over the place.
I swear upon the star of love above our heads,
Every wish will be fulfilled without being said,
When you’re away from home.

The dawn when hides itself from the shine of your eyes,
Cold are the nights, the heart is forlorn and sighs.
Drift away to my arms, through paradise,
Close those beautiful eyes, love will make it suffice.
I’ll be holding you at every fall,
Will hear your melancholy call.
I swear upon the light of dawn,
You will never be alone,
When you’re away from home.

The seven lights when conspire to lift you up,
Bliss and smiles shower from above.
Take a turn to where happiness resides,
It will have the beauty of a newly wedded bride.
Tears will be dry and divinity will unleash,
To our fate, the perfect keys.
I swear upon the purity of virtue,
All the hindrance we will come through.
And you will come back home.

Queen Of Blah. :)

An Eaten Tub Of Ice Cream? A Bucket Full Of Life.

Trust yourself. You know more than you think you do.

- Benjamin Spock

"How the heck can this happen to me? I have been such a good kid all my life."
A general exclamation when the world appears to be cylindrical, and the grass seems to be growing from the skies. (Not applicable if one feels this way after half a bottle of vodka.)

While we say this, we should keep the following things in mind:

=> We have NOT been good kids all our lives. If we were that perfect, we wouldn't be on earth.

=> We should be proud to be in a tough situation.
"Proud? Why proud?"

A general confused exclamation after reading the second point.

Proud because we're proud when we get a promotion; proud because we're proud when someone says that there is a task which can be completed only and only by us; proud because we're proud when we get something amazing and
WE ACTUALLY DESERVE IT.

If life throws a situation on your face, it's not because it hates you- its because it TRUSTS you. The situation you are in, currently, can't be handled better by ANYONE on this planet. You're only one out of the SEVEN BILLION who can handle THIS particular situation the way it should be.

You're in a problem not because life hates that amazing smile on your face, but because it wants to deepen the reason behind the smile and take it right to the roots of the soul.
Life sure has its own weird ways.
Tougher the situation, realize the stronger and wiser you are.

Through the hills and valleys of life, through the oceans and the islands, we gain a lot more than what we lose, and what we lose was never ours anyway.
Our life loves us like a mother, it will rebuke us, only to make us stronger, wiser and happier.
We are all loved and we are all unique.

So, the next time you feel that life is an eaten tub of Belgian Dark Chocolate Ice cream, and there is no pleasure or happiness left to it, give it your best shot, because that's what it expects out of you.
Brooding over what happened is like brooding over getting more wisdom and strength.
And hating life is like hating the person who understands and loves you the most- more than you love yourself.

Life is beautiful, and it gets more beautiful as you start understanding it.

This is the Queen of Blah signing off for now.

I see pretty colors.

True hope is swift, and flies with swallow's wings;
Kings it makes gods, and meaner creatures kings.

-William Shakespeare.

Life is not always a soft blowing breeze, bringing in the smell of the roses from the east; it is not always a bright day with a beautiful rainbow flowing into a river; it is not always what is expected from it. It can push one into a room of darkness, where what you had actually pressumed as happiness, was the disguised bleeding face of sadness.

But a person seeing a half glass full would say:

Life is not always a tormenting storm bringing in the swords of destruction; it is not always a dark moonless night with the cricket weeping at the sound of melancholy; it is not always what we see it as. It can dance us into a lush green lawn with butterflies and an early orange stroke of dawn.

What makes an optimist think and a pessimist weep is HOPE.

As time passes by, at some point or the other, we see life very closely. Every minute detail of life comes infront of our eyes in a flash. All the good and all the bad; all the genuine and all the fake. So many colors at one go, dazzle us and all we see is black. We close our eyes to everything and want the colors to disappear right then- but then as we pick up courage and slowly open our eyes, the psychedelic range of colors appear beautiful. That is when an optimist is born.
But when we are too scared to open our eyes to life again, scared of the pain, scared of the agony, we see just black and the pessimist in us gives our soul a sinister smile.

Fear and hope fight with each other everyday. Fear wants to set free the cold and the lonely; hope wants to set YOU free.
Hope taught me how to live life without the fear of a hopeless situation.
Because in every situation of life, there are loads of colors.

Fallen and broken? Pick yourself up, smile and march right ahead, at the horizon there's just harmony.
Lost and dejected? Find yourself within you, in your deepest, there's just love.

Life is beautiful. Breathe it in and get high.

Queen of Blah signing off. :)
